Crazyland Grill-Cafe

A spacious and inviting Crazyland Grill-Cafe is open every day from June to August and welcomes visitors to stay inside and cool down under our air-con or to have a nice moment or two on our big sunny patio. 
We serve our own Crazy good meals straight from our own kitchen. You don't want to miss out on our famous self made french fries! If you're looking for something sweeter try our very loved locally made sugar donuts.
 A coffee will keep you going and our sweets and snacks selection will blow your mind! 
If all that doesn't impress you, have you ever had a freshly made cotton candy or popcorn next to an Eiffel Tower on the Finnish countryside? We bet not, but maybe that's something to add to your bucket list?

Where it all began and where is it heading?

The original Crazyland Grill-Cafe was first founded in 2019. It was a little shop with a tiny outside patio. We started with only a regular fridge that had a small ice box underneath stacked full of ice cream cones. Our tiny shop sold coffee, a small selection of sweets, ice cream and the same sugat donuts we still have in our menu. 

It didn't take long for our shop to end up being way too tiny for us. For a year we only had a few square meters and a small gift shop right next to our teeny tiny cafe. We had to get rid of the gift shop to have some space to upgrade our game. We were able to buy a normal big ice box and to get some more machinery to increase our options. Cotton candy and popcorn machine made their first appearance on our cafe menu.

For reasons we all might remember, Finns started to travel in our home country in 2021 and it brought us a lot of good publicity and loads of customers. 

It only took a while for us to come to the  conclusion an indoor sitting area was a necessary upgrade and a kitchen to prepare proper meals was something we really wanted to have. That resulted in us spending the '21-'22 winter on a work shop and building a proper restaurant next to our former cafe transforming our old space into a storage and a staff area. 

On 2022 we opened our new self-built restaurant and rebranded to Crazyland Grill-Cafe. The new space offered many possibilities and comforts: customers were even able to sit inside! It has been a crazy ride since then. Our menu has been crafted to be fun, not too complicated but also suprising and to include items we all know and love. It has always been very important for us to also add elements that are original and interesting, even a bit crazy. One item is there to stay: the sugary donuts will stay on the menu until our baker gets tired of us. Why give up on something that clearly works? We have our baker to thank for that, we realized very soon we'll leave all the baking to those who can do it. Remember to always support your local talents!

We have since then had a small modest upgrade and doubled the size of our new restaurant. The upgraded setup was opened in 2025. It allowed us to host events and parties and to have bigger groups indoors. For once we are quite content with what we have and will probably not surprise our customers with new drastic changes any time soon.

To be honest, we're not known for staying on our feet for too long so who knows what will happen... Only time will tell.
